Your college hostel is going to be your second home a place where you’ll spend a significant part of your student life. A well-prepared checklist will ensure you're comfortable, organized, and ready to embrace this new chapter with confidence and ease.

To help you settle in smoothly, we've created an exhaustive checklist of items you should bring along. These essentials will not only make your stay more comfortable but also help you stay disciplined and focused especially important for Nursing students with a demanding academic and clinical schedule.

🛏️ Linen & Laundry Essentials

• 2 Bath towels, 2 hand/face towels
• 1 Blanket (lightweight or warm depending on season)
• Bed mattress & 2 pillows (standard size)
• 2 Bedspreads / Comforters
• 2-3 Pillow covers, 2-3 bed sheets
• Bucket, mug, and small basin
• Mini sewing kit (needles, thread, buttons, scissors)
• Laundry detergent / Fabric softener / Stain remover
• Cloth hangers and clips
• Lint roller / Brush
• Mosquito / insect repellents (liquid or electric)
• Shoe rack / Cloth drying rack (optional but helpful)

👕 Clothing Essentials

• Formal shirts and pants with black formal shoes for boys 
• College uniform sets (will be issued later)
• 4-5 versatile bottoms (pants/jeans/leggings)
• 5-6 tops / shirts / Kurtis
• 2 pairs of black shoes (1 formal, 1 clinical use)

🛒 Note:

To avoid heavy luggage, some non-urgent items can be bought after arrival. Supermarkets and stores are available within a 2 km radius of the hostel. You’ll have opportunities to shop locally during your initial days here.
