We are honoured to announce the Lamp Lighting Ceremony for our 1st-year nursing students,  which will be held on 26 March 2025.

The Lamp Lighting Ceremony is a time-honoured tradition in the nursing profession, symbolizing Florence Nightingale's legacy and the noble journey of nursing. This event marks the transition of our students into the world of healthcare, instilling in them a deep sense of dedication, compassion, and service to humanity.

✨ The presence of parents is mandatory, as their blessings and support play an essential role in this significant milestone of their child’s journey. Witnessing this sacred event will be a moment of great pride, as our students pledge themselves to the values of care, empathy, and excellence in nursing.

The ceremony will include:

🕯️ Traditional Lamp Lighting – A symbolic act representing the passing of knowledge and wisdom.

📜 Nursing Oath – Students will take the Florence Nightingale Pledge, committing to uphold the ethics and responsibilities of the profession.

🎤 Inspirational Addresses – Words of wisdom from esteemed faculty and healthcare professionals.
